Job Summary:
The Estimator is an integral part of the team as they will review bid documents, perform take offs, compile cost estimates and bid schedules with the help of Field Leadership and Senior Management.
This position is in Plymouth Meeting, PA and may have to travel around Eastern Pennsylvania.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees the sales and estimating phase of a project lifecycle from Bid Receipt to Contract Execution.
Duties:
- Reviews plans and specifications to prepare a comprehensive project cost estimate.
- Collaborates with engineers, construction supervisors, clients, and contractors to discuss and formulate estimates and project execution approach.
- Assesses cost effectiveness and identifying potential financial risks.
- Analyzes data collected from job sites, vendors, and other stakeholders to compile detailed cost information.
- Prepares detailed reports or bids for submission to project stakeholders.
- Adjusts estimates and recommendations based on changes and updates to projects.
- Maintains records of estimated and actual costs.
- Notifies, tracks, creates, submits and follows up with Scope Changes to the Customer.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related engineering discipline required.
- At least two (2) years of experience in project management, engineering, systems design, or other related field, with at least three years of management experience leading multidisciplinary design teams required.
Compensation:
- Commensurate with experience.
